Annual TEAC Community Health Fair

Every year, TEAC hosts a community health fair at Mercy Neighborhood Ministries, a community organization dedicated to identifying needs in and serving the North Philadelphia community.

This is one of many ways that TEAC’s LKSOM students connect with residents of the surrounding area. Local organizations and students from Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine all collaborate to have booths cover an array of topics, including: Naloxone distribution, nutrition, vision & hearing screenings, educational games, CPR education, women’s health information, and many more.

In previous fairs, we have had 60+ adults, 45+ children check in to participate! We hope to see you at this year’s fair, which you can find information about here.
